The Family-Based Prevention Conference 2012 will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This exciting event will bring together experts from around the world to exchange information on the latest research, policy and practice on promoting effective family-based preventive interventions and positive parenting.

The Family-Based Prevention Conference 2012 will focus on the wide range of issues that affect the physical and mental health and well-being of families. This includes: alcohol, tobacco and illicit drug use; violence and anti-social behaviour; parenting skills; parenting styles; family-based preventive interventions, practices and policies; and family legislation.

The conference is interdisciplinary, bringing together individuals from a wide range of fields to help develop understanding of family-based prevention and hence promote evidence-based and evaluated prevention interventions in families around the world.

The Family-Based Prevention Conference 2012 is hosted by Institute for Research and Development “Utrip” (Slovenia) and Lutra Group (USA).
